Walkers and runners of all ages - and varying speeds – are invited to participate in the seventh annual 5K Fun Run/Walk on Thursday, July 4.
Attracting over 400 participants, the 5K Fun Run/Walk kicks off a full day of 4th of July festivities in the heart of historic downtown Edmonds. For those with a competitive streak, awards will be given to winners in overall men’s and women’s and age group categories.
The 5k Fun Run/Walk starts at Edmonds City Park at 3rd Ave. S & Pine. Registration opens at 8:30 am and the race starts at 10 am. All participants are asked to arrive before 9:30 am to pick up their race bib and materials. There is a $25 registration fee, which includes a race T-shirt. Day of event registration is available but increases to $30 and T-shirts are not guaranteed.

Participants are encouraged to register online by going to www.edmondswa.com and selecting the registration option on the home page. Registration forms are also available at the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce office.
