Update on Hawaiian Luau

“Wave after wave rolls on

And the water falls
And the line is drawn
Wave after wave rolls in
And the line is gone
Where my feet have been” by IONA

Anyone wonder where the wave went ,the good news is that it always comes back when it goes out we get to discover treasures hidden under the wave.  In front of the biggest treasure we have in Edmonds, you got it, “The Edmonds Senior Center” and the good news is the treasures that are there all year long.  Not all the treasures are found in our Thrift Store ran by our fabulous volunteers but also in the varied healthy programs we put on for seniors and the many treasure seekers that wander in.  Come meet all the interesting members with memorable history sit awhile for the stories of the past tails of Edmonds.

Our annual Paradise Isle - Hawaiian Luau is August 15, 2013 from 5-7:30 pm.  Entertainment by the Sweet Someone’s Ukulele group and music program, hula dancing by the Sound Singers.  Our lovely Marylyn Beck who can still hula dance until the sun goes down.  Hawaiian themed meal cost $12 for members and $20 non-members and $7 for children.  Sign-ups for this event begin June 15th.
