"Natural Connections" Exhibition at Gallery North

Kathleen A. Johnson will be the featured artist at Gallery North throughout the month of June, 2013. The show “Natural Connections” features some of her favorite subjects. Her love of color and affection for her subjects is evident in her paintings. “Something is sparked in me when I encounter my natural subjects, and I seek to express that feeling in my art,” explains Kathleen.
An award-winning, Edmonds-based artist, Kathleen A. Johnson is sometimes called “the crow lady” because crows are often featured in her paintings. Her art business, Two Crows Studio, is even named for her love of these intelligent animals. “I have always had an interest in birds, particularly crows,” she says.“I feel birds help us keep our connection to nature.”
The public is invited to two special events at Gallery North during June, the artist reception for Kathleen A. Johnson on Sunday June 9th from 1-4 pm, and a reception during the Edmonds Third Thursday Art Walk, on June 20th from 5-8 pm.
Gallery North is located at 508 Main Street in downtown Edmonds; for more information call 425-774-0946 or visit the website: www.Gallery-North.com
