I hate that one of the suspects is my sweet little brother. We grew up in a fantastic family.Read More Healthy ,happy and living home. He has been lost to heroin and meth. My sincerest apologies to those who suffered losses of the material kind , but please pray for our family as we fear the loss of a loved one.

patch adams, maybe you can explain to us what civil rights were lost in this case. Is it the rightRead More of children to play outside when police have information that an armed criminal is running loose in the neighborhood?

Sorry Sara, I think I misunderstood your original question. Here's a link to the boundary map, butRead More if you're not sure, you might want to call the district transportation services at 425-431-7230 for help. I hope that helps! http://www.edmonds.wednet.edu/cms/lib02/WA01001167/Centricity/Domain/8/elemboundary1112.pdf

I would highly recommend registering on the Edmonds School District website, Sara. That way you'llRead More get emails from the school when there's new info on the website. Here's the link to the page, and you click "register" in the upper right corner. https://www.edmonds.wednet.edu/Page/1

The sequester was the presidents idea and the congress went along with it. What has happened sinceRead More should go down in history as embarrassing, particularly for the president. I have never witnessed a president who has engaged in such finger-pointing, fearmongering and deviceveness in my entire life. The sequester amounts to a 1.1% cut in what we WERE going to spend in 2013. We are actually going to spend much more than we did in 2012. As i recall, the government ran pretty well on what we spent in 2012. In fact the entire amount of sequester dollars we're talking about is approximately $44B. Compare that to the roughly $4T budget and you get 1.1% The American people need to wake up (or better yet, pay attention) because our country is being fundamentally transformed right before our very eyes. We need to start ignoring the party and paying attention to our constitution and our country first and foremost. I need an aspirin!

Getting rid of the department of education doesn't necessarily mean cutting education funding. InRead More fact many believe it would increase available money to fund education. Instead of having a top heavy federal level agency, the state's board of education would handle education decisions. It is really about eliminating a level of management (something private companies have already done to save costs). Education is a function that states can handle and used to until the federal agency was created in 1980. I feel this is a reasonable opinion. /r/politics may not agree, but can we discuss our difference of opinion in a reasonable fashion. I'm truly interested in what the United States Department of Education does that is valued by its supporters.

That doesn't make for good headlines for the media or a propaganda tool for the pigs to prove theRead More SUCKcess of their meaningless gun buyback. Won't even see a blip in the crime stats

Fair enough, Edward. Dexterjibs' comments have disappeared from time to time, and you have observedRead More the reason why. We often give no warning for folks like that. I am also aware of what a "troll" is in online parlance, thanks.
Edward A. January 20, 2013 at 06:47 pm
Also, check out dexterjib's comment history if you want to see what abusive behavior is.Read More "Trent is a very delicate, sensitive guy. I am surprised he is married to a lady." "You again, Joe H, geez you are like a little gnat" "Sounds like you are a sensitive little guy, Trent, so i want call you names." "Sorry Joe, i am not a gullible fool like you." ...ad nauseum. It irritates me that I got a public warning for calling an obvious troll a troll, while the troll gets a pass.
Edward A. January 20, 2013 at 06:39 pm
Dexterjibs, you presume far too much -- you haven't gotten under my skin. I was simply observingRead More that your goal seems to be to provoke others without making substantive arguments. And I will have a nice day.
