Established in 1997, Crescendo is an "artistic environment school" for preschool through elementary children. Located in the former Woodway Elementary School building, its program emphasizes arts and culture, focusing on music, cultural diversity, dancing, and drumming. The curriculum also includes all standard subjects such as language arts, math, social studies, science, and physical education. It offers music instruction classes, a library, field trips, art education, foreign language instruction, a chess club, and before and after-school child care. The certified instructors are experienced, creative, and actively engaged in their own artistic endeavors.
