Citizen of the Year Nominations Being Sought

The 19th annual award will recognize a person who has contributed community service for the people of Edmonds and deserves to receive recognition.

It's time again for nominations for the 19th annual Edmonds Citizen of the Year sponsored by the Edmonds Kiwanis Club.

The purpose of this award is for the recognition of a person (or persons) who has contributed community service for the people of Edmonds and deserves to receive recognition.

The person may be a civic-minded citizen active in civic affairs, community activities and/or business pursuits. It is open to individuals as volunteers or professionals in the line of duty.

The Kiwanis Club will select the winner.

Nomination forms are available in the Edmonds Beacon, the and the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce. A form can also be printed from the chamber's Web site.
