Fun in the Sun at the Taste

Up to 80,000 people expected to take in the 30th annual A Taste of Edmonds. The three-day run concludes today.

The Atomic Punks blasted through on Saturday, and our ears are still recovering this Sunday morning.

The L.A.-based tribute band to early Van Halen music had the beer garden rocking in the early afternoon, when typically it doesn't throng until later in the evening. Lead vocalist Brian Keller, his blond mop flying a la David Lee Roth, and bandmates ran through a string of hits: "Jump," "Panama" and, of course, "Runnin' With the Devil."

The 30th annual A Taste of Edmonds, sponsored by the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce, at the Civic Center Playfield in Edmonds.
