Edmonds Night Out: Learn How to Prevent and Combat Crime
The annual event, which has many activities for kids, is tonight at the Frances Anderson Center.
Today, the Edmonds Police Foundation will host its annual "A Night Out Against Crime."
The foundation invites community members to a free event at playfield from 5 to 8 p.m.
The event is a chance to learn how to combat crime while meeting neighbors, local businesses and emergency responders who care and make a difference.

Edmonds residents can meet police and fire officials, the K-9 Unit, SWAT Unit, public safety agencies from South Snohomish County, local businesses, and nonprofit organizations.
Kids can enjoy checking out emergency vehicles, the SWAT team's bus, the K-9 police car and the fire truck.
