Coach Alex Silva said playing in the scrimmage against Gonzaga doesn’t assure a player a spot on the team. It’s just another step in trying to earn a place on the roster.

“This is a great chance for me to see how these players play together in a game situation,” Silva said. “It’s also an opportunity for me to evaluate some of Gonzaga’s players.”
