Student Art: Meadowdale High School Mixed-Media Show Now in Edmonds

The Edmonds Arts Commission is presenting the show through March 6.

The Edmonds Arts Commission is now presenting a mixed-media exhibit by art students from Meadowdale High School.

The exhibit is on display in the McDevitt Young Artists Display Case at the Frances Anderson Center in Edmonds.

Amanda Amsel-Wood is the teacher for the students: Hyansook Kwak, Hyangsahm Lee, Nolan Mottle, Joelle Roehl and Megan Cho. They are in Amsel-Wood’s AP Studio Art class and some of the pieces will be submitted as part of the student’s final portfolio in May 2013.

The exhibit is on display through March 6 in the Frances Anderson Center at 700 Main St., Edmonds. The Young Artists Display Case is next to the elevator and is available for viewing during building hours, Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m and Saturday afrom 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Building hours will change starting January 2, 2013: Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
