Street Strut Gets Record Participation in Fundraiser for Edmonds Schools
More than $30,000 raised for Edmonds Public Schools Foundation.
More than 940 people took part at the third annual on Saturday, an increase of several hundred from last year. The total included 308 participants from Madrona K-8 School, making it—for the second year in a row—the winner of the Golden Shoe award for the school with the most participation.
The level of participation from Madrona would certainly have made GayLynee Ullerich proud.
The event, a fundraiser for the Edmonds Public Schools Foundation that raised more than $30,000, this year was in honor of who died in January after a car accident.
