The auction committee thanks all the volunteers, attendees and local businesses who made it such a great event. It's especially heartwarming to know that $4,655 was raised specifically for the Blue & White Fund, which helps athletes who can't afford the pay-to-play fees.

Without this critical fund, many athletes would not be able to participate at all. Way to go, Maverick fans! And speaking of fans, we're also proud that the evening honored Herb Morrison, our "Maverick Fan of the Year."

Herb has lived in the Edmonds area for 30 years; his children were Meadowdale athletes. He loves coming to games right through to the playoffs, even though his own children graduated several years ago in 1995 and 2000. Thank you for your ongoing support, Herb!
