STEM Expo 2013 will celebrate scientific research and engineering design from students grades 4-12 on Tuesday, March 19 from 6-8 p.m. at Mountlake Terrace High.
The free program, featuring local STEM Clubs (such as FIRST robotics teams), classroom demonstrations and displays by local colleges and companies, is sponsored by Boeing, the Edmonds Public Schools Foundation and the Edmonds School District.
STEM of course, is a major focus of public education these days, standing for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
“It should be fun,” said Bobby McLaughlin, community relations specialist for the Edmonds School District. “There will be about 175 booths and exhibits with some great kid-crafted ideas.”
Mountlake Terrace High is at 21801 44th Avenue West. For details, click here.
