A Debate on Illegal Immigration, featuring Steve Beren and Rev. Wayne Perryman
What should America's response to be on illegal immigration? Should all illegal immigrants be bussed to the border? Instead, should they be granted amnesty? Or, is there a more effective middle ground? Come to this very interesting event and hear two engaging and knowledgeable speakers, who may not see this the same way, debate this important and timely issue.
Steve Beren is an American speaker, writer, and political activist from Seattle, Washington. Beren was also the 2006 and 2008 Republican candidate for U.S. Congress in Washington State's 7th Congressional District against incumbent Democratic Congressman Jim McDermott. Beren is a Tea Party activist, fiscal conservative, and an outspoken advocate for victory against terrorism. His campaigns have emphasized the issues of limited government, fiscal conservatism, foreign policy, immigration, and social conservatism.
Reverend Wayne Perryman has served as Minister in Charge of Church Administration for Mt. Calvary
Christian Center Church of God in Christ in Mercer Island, Washington. He also heads his own consulting firm, and has been politically and socially active in the Seattle area and nationwide for many years. Rev. Perryman is the
author of a number of books, including Unfounded
Loyalty and Whites, Blacks and Racist Democrats.
