Edmonds-Woodway Needs Volunteers for Seniors' Culminating Projects

Volunteers from all trades, professions, and backgrounds are needed on April 20.

is inviting members from the community to participate in evaluating the class of 2012's culminating senior projects.

All presentations will take place at the school on Friday, April 20, 2012. Volunteers from all trades, professions, and backgrounds are needed from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m.

After a morning orientation, volunteers will work with an E-W teacher to listen to and evaluate a few student presentations, which help with interview skills and general career preparation.

"Volunteer evaluators often walk away enjoying meeting our students and seeing what they do," said Jillian Wellington, coordinator of culminating projects. "We would love to have you join us."

Those interested can e-mail Wellington at wellingtonj@edmonds.wednet.edu or call 425-431-6122. Wellington will follow up with volunteers in the spring with more information.
