Edmonds-Woodway Fall Sports Schedules Released
E-W football team begins season Sept. 2 again Monroe.
The season schedule for Edmonds-Woodway High School football and five other fall sports are now published at the Wesco Athletics website.
The Warriors' football team, coached by John Gradwohl, kicks off its season at home on Sept. 2 against the Monroe Bearcats. Start time is 5 p.m. at Edmonds Stadium.
The Warrriors finished last season at 6-4 and play in the Wesco South 4A with Cascade, Jackson, Kamiak and Mariner high schools. The Warriors finished tied for first place in the conference with a 3-1 record.

According to MaxPreps.com, the Warriors' top three returning players are seniors Spiral Horn, Robbie Willcock and Jayson Peterson. A team barbecue will be held Friday at 5:30 in E-W's Great Hall.
Also available on the site are schedules for boys tennis, boys and girls cross-country, and girls volleyball, soccer and swimming.
