School Principal Michelle Trifunovic has accepted a job as executive director of high schools for the Issaquah School District.
Trifunovic sent the following message to parents and guardians:
It is with great excitement and sadness that I share with you that I have accepted a new position as Executive Director of High Schools in the Issaquah School District. The last seven years at EWHS have been fantastic and I will never forget the incredible students, staff and parents that I have met along the way.
As I reflect back on my experience at EWHS, I am impressed with the high expectations set by staff, the support of our parent community and the diversity present in our student body. I would like to thank you for your support over the years and wish you and your students the best.
The EWHS Principal position is currently posted and will close on June 25. I anticipate that the District will have the process completed by the middle of July.
I will always have a fond spot in my heart for Edmonds-Woodway and the Warrior community.
