How do you navigate a roundabout? How have other cities taken to them? Where does the money come from?
Those are just a couple of the topics that the City of Edmonds has made available for review in advance of a public hearing.
A Power Point presentation, PDF and two videos—which were used in a presentation to City Council on Dec. 6 by Public Works Director Phil Williams—all support the construction of a roundabout at the city's Five Corners intersection of Main Street, Bowdoin Way, 84th Avenue West and 212th Street Southwest.
The public hearing is scheduled during the Dec. 20 City Council meeting, which will be be held at 7 p.m. in the Edmonds City Council Chamber, 250 Fifth Ave. N. All interested parties will be heard; however, there will be a time restriction for oral comment. Written comments are welcomed prior to or at the public hearing.
