Dream On: Friday's Mega Millions Jackpot Almost Half a Billion Dollars

No one won Tuesday's Mega Millions lottery jackpot. The next drawing will be the largest in Mega Million's history.

No one won Tuesday's $363 million Mega Millions lottery jackpot, which is played in 42 states, including Washington.

Now the pot is even sweeter. Although Washington's Lottery officials peg Friday's drawing at $476 million, Mega Millions on its Web site has it as an estimated $500 million. Washington's Lottery says it's the largest jackpot in North America, breaking its own record of $390 million.

Some of you have already told us: Buy a view home in the Bowl, pay off debts, hold a summer youth rodeo program and, um, "put up a billboard of a naked picture of my ex-wife."

There were three lucky Washington $250,000 winners in last night's drawing, including two tickets bought at retailers in Spokane and one in Ferndale.

Last January, players from Washington and Idaho won the second highest Mega Millions jackpot in history of $380 million also making it the highest jackpot ever won by a Washington player. 

The odds on Friday of getting all six numbers? About 1 in 175 million.
