Washington State Ferries Ramping Up for Spring

The Edmonds/Kingston run will see changes in weekend sailings beginning Sunday, March 24.

Washington State Ferries on Wednesday announced spring changes to its schedule, including to weekend sailings on the Edmonds/Kingston run.

State Ferries typically changes it schedule in spring -- which begins March 20 -- with additional service as traffic increases from its winter lull.

The changes in the Edmonds/Kingston run:

  • Late evening schedule changes on Saturdays and Sundays to better match the weekday evening sailing times.
  • Additional morning sailings at 5:35 a.m. from Kingston and 6:20 a.m. from Edmonds Saturdays only.
  • A 10:30 p.m. from Kingston and 11:10 p.m. from Edmonds will operate Sundays only. The last trip on Saturdays and Sundays will continue to sail at 11:05 p.m. from Kingston and 11:45 p.m. from Edmonds.
