Second Candidate Forum Is Tonight at Edmonds Senior Center

The forum will have mayoral and City Council candidates.

Tonight, the Alliance of Citizens for Edmonds (ACE) and the are sponsoring the second forum of candidates up for election in Edmonds.

Candidates for mayor are incumbent Mike Cooper and challenger Dave Earling. City Council candidates include incumbents Diane Buckshnis, D.J. Wilson and Lora Petso, as well as Bob Wilcox, Joan Bloom, Frank Yamamoto, Alvin Rutledge and Darlene Stern.

The forum will be held at Edmonds Senior Center, 220 Railroad Ave. Light refreshments will be served. Doors open at 6 p.m., with the forum at 6:30.

The first candidate forum, Oct. 3 at Edmonds Center for the Arts, was sponsored by the Economic Development Committee, a committee of the Chamber of Commerce.

Another candidate forum, at Edmonds United Methodist Church, is Thursday at 7 p.m. It's sponsored by the church, the League of Women Voters and the American Association of University Women.
