Protest Planned for Mitt Romney Fundraiser; Public Appearance Friday

Republican candidate Romney will speak at a fundraiser in Bellevue Thursday afternoon ahead of Saturday's Washington State Republican Caucus.

Update: Mitt Romney had added a public appearance to his schedule in Puget Sound.

Mitt Romney, who won primaries in Michigan and Arizona Tuesday night, is planning to attend a campaign fundraiser at the in Bellevue on Thursday, according to the Associated Press.

On Friday, Romney will have a public meet-and-greet at the in Bellevue.

Working Washington, a political group that advocates for progressive causes, is organizing a protest of Romney's Thursday fundraiser.

GOP nomination hopefuls Rick Santorum and Ron Paul plan to rally in Washington state this week. Santorum plans on rallies in Eastern Washington, according to KING 5. Paul has plans to be in Spokane and Ridgefield in Clark County on Friday, according to Paul's calendar.
