Edmonds Mayor Dave Earling will be on hand today at 11:30 a.m. to dedicate a new plaque at the in Edmonds.
The plaque commemorates the donation of land by the Ballinger family that made it possible for the city to complete the portion of the Interurban Trail that runs through Edmonds.
At least one member of the Ballinger family who lives locally will be attending.
