Pending Litigation Prompts Special Edmonds City Council Meeting Tuesday

The City Council will convene at 5:45 p.m. in a closed session, then take potential action in an open meeting directly afterward.

The Edmonds City Council will hold a special meeting Tuesday, Feb. 12, to deal with "pending litigation," according to a notice Monday from the city clerk's office.

The council will convene at 5:45 p.m. and go into executive session, which is not open to the public. That's expected to take about 15 minutes.

Then at about 6 p.m., the council will reconvene and may take action as a result of the executive session.

The council meets at the Public Safety Complex, 250 5th Ave. N. The executive session will be held in Jury Meeting room. The open session will be held in council chambers.
