Pamphlets for Aug. 16 Primary Mailed Today in Snohomish County

The ballots will be sent off tomorrow.

Today, Snohomish County election officials are mailing out pamphlets with information on the candidates in the Aug. 16 primary election.

The county plans to send off the ballots to voters tomorrow.

Voters can also access the guide to candidates online, at the Snohomish County Auditor's web site.

Primary voters can mail back their ballots or drop them off at 24-hour boxes outside the Edmonds and Lynnwood libraries.

The deadline to drop off or postmark your ballot is Primary Election Day.

Edmonds positions on the primary ballot include mayor, city council seat number four, and positions three and five on the Edmonds School Board. The top two vote-getters in each race move on to the general election. For more on the candidates and races,

Return your ballot as early as possible for it to be included in results reported on Election Night, and to allow more time for Elections to connect with you if there are any issues verifying your signature.
