Online Voter Registration Deadline Ends Monday for August Primary

Monday, July 8, is the last day to register to vote or update voter registration information online or in person in time for the Aug. 6 primary election.

Monday, July 8, will be the last day to register to vote online or by mail or update voter registration information in time for the Aug. 6 primary, according to Snohomish County Elections.

In-person registration will continue through July 29 for those who are currently not registered in Washington.

Edmonds voters will help decide the primary for Snohomish County Fire District 1, commissioner 1. Lynnwood will also hold primaries for the mayoral race and three city council seats.

To be eligible to register to vote, you must be:

  • 18 years old by election day (Aug. 6)
  • A United States citizen
  • A legal resident of the state of Washington
  • Not under the authority of the Department of Corrections

Voters can visit the Snohomish County Elections website or call the elections office at 425-388-3444 for assistance and information.
