Jealously Played Role In Shooting That Killed Shorecrest High School Student
Detectives have name of a suspect but are not releasing the person's name
Jealously appears to have played a role in an argument that preceded the of a early Wednesday, according to the King County Sheriff's Office.
The identity of the suspect is known, the Sheriff's Office said, but the name is not being released due to the ongoing investigation.
The shooting was not random or part of a gang conflict, said Operations Capt. Scott Strathy of the Shoreline Police Department. It occurred at about 12:30 a.m. in the 300 block of Richmond Beach Road outside the Maplewood Court Apartments on the border of the Hillwood and Richmond Highlands neighborhoods.

Tiana Montgomery, 17, of Lake Forest Park died at Harborview in Seattle on Thursday after shooting.
Her cousin, Darrold Devaughn Edwards, is still hospitalized at Harborview.
