THIS CAMPAIGN:
What is the primary reason you are running for this office?
I truly believe in public schools. I have taken an active role in the District since my children entered kindergarten: coaching Oddessy of the Mind in elementary school, tutoring math and being a PTA office in middle school and being the parent representative on the Lynnwood High School Instructional Council. I want to continue to support the District by building on the Board’s and District’s accomplishments over the last several years.
What will be your top three priorities if you get elected and why?
1. Continuing to improve student achievement and graduation rates
2. Retaining the best teachers and staff with increased support, training and shared decision-making
3. Continued financial integrity
What sets you apart from the other candidates and/or previous office holders?
As a School Board Director for the last eight years, I have the experience, commitment, and leadership to continue to represent the citizens and their children in our District.
How much money do you expect your campaign to spend on this election?
Less than $500
