It's December 2012, and you know what that means: Could the end of the world really be near?
Just in case the Mayan calendar is right and the world will indeed expire on Dec. 21, the City of Edmonds is pushing a tongue-in-cheek (we hope) promotion to get people to shop in Edmonds.
"Shop Edmonds Soon" is a contest where those who enter online (name/e-mail/phone) are eligible for one of four prizes: $100 worth of local coffee and $100, $200 and $300 shopping sprees.
