Edmonds Station Dedication

Join Sound Transit and their partners to dedicate the new Edmonds Sounder Station at an event hosted by Snohomish County Executive Aaron Reardon. RSVP to: events@soundtransit.org. The newly renovated Edmonds Station opens for service to Sounder train riders on Monday, July 11. Sound Transit has made the station more welcoming, attractive and pedestrian-friendly for both commuters and area residents with a new train platform, larger passenger loading area and new transit shelters. The station also features a 15-foot tall, totem-like bronze sculpture by renowned local artist Gerard Tsutakawa called "Standing Wave." The sculpture's form is an allegory to the movement of water on Puget Sound.
