Edmonds’ Mayor Dave Earling Opens His Door to Public Conversations

First in a series of Office Hour appointments is this Friday at City Hall.

Edmonds Mayor Dave Earling is starting a new program he's calling Office Hour where he invites citizens, business owners and others from the Edmonds community to join him for a one-on-one meeting.

The idea was presented to Earling while he was meeting citizens during the recent election campaign.

The meetings are designed to provide an opportunity for constituents to talk with the mayor about concerns related to the city. It's a chance, says Earling, for the public to voice their opinions, ideas and suggestions directly him while creating public understanding and support for the issues facing Edmonds.

Meetings will be broken into 15-minute intervals to allow for four individual sessions within the hour.

Office Hour meetings will be held on the second and fourth Fridays of every month from 8 to 9 a.m. in the mayor’s office located on the third floor of City Hall, 121 Fifth Ave. N.
