Dave Earling to be Sworn in as Edmonds' 35th Mayor on Tuesday
Earling succeeds Mike Cooper, who was appointed in 2010.
When he is sworn in as Edmonds mayor on Tuesday, will become the 35th person to hold the position, according to records kept in Edmonds City Hall.
The swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for 4 p.m. in the Edmonds Plaza Room located above the Edmonds Library at 650 Main St.

Edmonds had a mayor who fought in the Civil War, Col. S.E. Street (1903-04), and two who served two terms: James Brady (1901-03, 1904-10) and Fred Fourtner (1927-33, 1937-49). Brady, tragically, in 1912 by his wife, Margaret, who was said to be suffering from mental problems.
Harve Harrison has the distinction of serving the longest consecutive term as Edmonds mayor, from 1968 to 1983.
