Woman Cited for Leaving Dog in Hot Car for 45 Minutes – Edmonds Police Blotter

The following information includes some of the crimes listed in Edmonds Police logs from July 24-31, 2013.

July 29

6:12 p.m., 9400 block of 232 St SW, Call of juveniles trespassing on the victim's property. Four juveniles located, two found to be in possession of marijuana.

12:13 a.m., 20900 block 70 Ave W, Fenced industrial yard entered and items stolen.

July 28

12:04 a.m., 8700 block 241 PL SW, Suspects stole victim's garage door opener in vehicle prowl. Suspects then used garage door opener to burglarize residence where they stole electronics and jewelry. Some property recovered.

12:38 a.m., 900 block Puget Way, Family fight starts on school playground and moves to neighborhood. Subject arrested and booked in the Snohomish County Jail. 

9:11 a.m., 23200 Highway 99, Numerous vehicles prowled at apartment complex.

9:22 p.m., 10 State Route 104, Assisted WSP on DUI collision. An adult female was arrested for DUI.

12:08 a.m., 600 block Maple Street, Husky dog and longhaired Dachshund dog impounded for running at large. Two second offense citations issued. 

July 27

6:08 p.m., 100 block Railroad Ave, Intoxicated female repeatedly struck her boyfriend with her hands. She was booked into Snohomish County jail.

July 26

6:12 a.m., 18401 76 Ave W, Employee of business assaulted during robbery at Corner Coffee Bar & Cafe. 

6:44 p.m., 21900 Hwy. 99, An adult female found a loose diamond on the floor of Top Food and Drug.

July 25

11:58 a.m., 100 block 5 Ave N, Woman cited for leaving her dog in the car for 45 minutes in the sun.

11:36 a.m., 21900 Highway 99, Counterfeit $5 seized when holder inadvertently tries to use it at Dick's Drive-Inn.

July 24

1:54 p.m., 21500 block 73 PL W, investigation of assault in progress in the street results in male being charged with two counts of assault.

10:48 p.m., 20800 Hwy. 99, Stolen vehicle involved in a hit and run collision. Suspect flees and is captured a few blocks away.
