Update: Police Search for Suspected Burglar in Westgate Continues

Anyone with information is urged to call the Edmonds Police Department's tip line.

Today at 12:40 p.m. Edmonds Police completed its initial search for a suspected in the 22500 block of 98th Ave. W in Edmonds, south of 224th St. SW in the Westgate neighborhood.

As the investigation continues, Edmonds Police Sgt. Mike Blackburn says the suspect is a 6-foot white male about 30 years old, with a thin build that was described by the victim as being gaunt.

He has dark brown hair with a moustache, and was last seen wearing a green and black plaid shirt and light color pants. 

Blackburn said that nothing was taken from the home as the homeowner interrupted the burglary as the suspect entered through a back door. The homeowner was not hurt.
