Here's a round up of last week's calls to Snohomish County Fire District One.
Snohomish County Fire District One provided the following summary of responses in the past week:
Snohomish County Fire District 1 responded to 347 calls the week of March 17-23: 292 emergency medical aid calls, 14 fires, 18 motor vehicle collisions, 11 service calls, 10 automatic fire alarms, one natural gas leak and one technical rescue response.
March 18

COLLISION. At 7:19 p.m., two cars collided at 124th St. SW and 4th Ave. W south of Everett. Firefighters transported one patient to Swedish/Mill Creek and one patient to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.
March 19

HOUSE FIRE. At 2:01 p.m., a fire was reported at a home in the 18900 block of 20th Pl. W east of Lynnwood. A teenager and her younger sister safely exited the home after a smoke alarm alerted them to the fire. Firefighters quickly brought the fire under control. Fire damage was contained to the master bedroom and bathroom, but there was heavy smoke damage throughout the home. The loss is estimated at $60,000. The Snohomish County Fire Marshal’s office determined the fire was most likely started by a faulty hair dryer.
COLLISION. At 5:34 p.m., firefighters transported one patient to Northwest Hospital after responding to a three-car collision at 238th St. SW and Highway 99 in Edmonds.
COLLISION. At 7:35 p.m., firefighters responded to a two-car collision in the 20500 block of Richmond Road east of Lynnwood. Two patients were transported by ambulance to Swedish/Edmonds.
March 21
COLLISION. At 2:57 p.m., firefighters transported one patient to Swedish/Mill Creek after responding to a two-car collision at 148th St. SW and Highway 99 in Edmonds.
March 22
COLLISION. At 7:10 p.m., firefighters transported one patient to Harborview Medical Center after responding to a collision involving a pickup truck and a car at 228th St. SW and Highway 99 in Edmonds.
March 23
COLLISION. At 2:28 p.m., firefighters transported one patient to Swedish/Edmonds after responding to a car that crashed into a telephone pole at Main Street and Olympic Avenue in Edmonds.
