Suspect Flees Scene of Reported Domestic Assault on 232nd St. SW

Supect is a transient with no known address.

Edmonds police are seeking a suspect in a reported domestic assault, said Edmonds Police Sgt. Mike Blackburn.

On Friday at 6:48 p.m. officers responded to a reported domestic assault in the 9400 block of 232nd Street SW. A 31-year-old female said she and her 35-year-old boyfriend had a disagreement that escalated into a physical altercation.

At one point the woman said she was pushed down onto a couch and the man landed on top of her, causing minor injury.

The male suspect fled the scene before police arrived.

Since there was probable cause to believe that he had committed a misdemeanor assault, officers searched for the man in the area. He was not found, and a criminal charge of domestic assault in the fourth degree was referred for prosecution.

The suspect is a white male, 6'1" and 210 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He is a transient with no known address. Β 

The female victim refused medical attention for minor injuries.
