Firefighters from quickly extinguished a small grass fire at on Monday morning.
The fire, in a landscaped island on the east side of the parking lot, was first reported at 7:19 a.m., said fire district spokeswoman Leslie Hynes.
A 10-foot-by-10-foot grassy area was on fire with one-foot tall flames when firefighters arrived. They doused the fire with tank water from the fire truck, as there was no need to hook up to a hydrant for water supply.

The fire did not pose a threat to any vehicles or buildings, said Hynes, who added that the cause of the fire has not been determined.
