Six Injured in Two-Car Collision in Lynnwood, Ash Way Closed, Authorities Say

As of 4:15 p.m., Ash Way is closed at 156th Ave and transit buses have been rerouted until further notice.

Six people were injured Friday afternoon in a two-car collision at Madison Way and Ash Way north of Lynnwood, according to Snohomish Fire District 1 officials.

The collision was reported at 3:08 p.m. The male driver of one of the vehicles was unconscious when firefighters arrived and he was transported by paramedics to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. His passengers, a woman and a man in their 40s, were transported by firefighters to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.

The driver of the other car was also seriously injured, authorities said. She was transported by paramedics to Harborview Medical Center. Her daughters, a toddler and a 13-year-old, had minor injuries and were also transported to Harborview Medical Center.

The collision is being investigated by the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
