Update: Seattle PD Says 2 Shootings Related; Suspect Shoots Himself

Man suspected of killing three people at North Seattle establishment and a woman on First Hill in Seattle.

UPDATE, 4:40 p.m: The Seattle Police Department says the suspect who shot himself was responsible for both shootings in Seattle today.

The Seattle Police Department is reporting that the gunman suspected of killing three people at Cafe Racer at about 11 a.m. today in Seattle has shot himself. He has been identified as Ian L. Stawicki, 40, of Ellensburg.

KIRO TV reports that the gunman shot himself in the head in West Seattle. The shooting at the cafe occurred at about 11 a.m. at the cafe at 5828 Roosevelt Way NE.

Meanwhile, within an hour of the shooting, a woman was shot and killed in a possible carjacking in Seattle at Eighth Avenue and Seneca Street.
