A Seattle Seahawks victory after-party turned violent when a gunman killed a 30-year-old Seattle man and possibly injured another in a crowded Bellevue bar early Monday.
Bellevue Police spokewoman Carla Iafrate told The Associated Press the shooting occured just after 1 a.m. at the Munchbar in Bellevue Square.
At the time of the shooting, she said, police already were outside the bar because more than 600 people had gathered there to celebrate the Seahawks victory over the San Francisco 49ers.
The Seattle Times and King 5 both reported that several Seahawks players were at the bar at the time but were in a VIP room at the time of the gunplay. They were escorted from the bar without incident.
Police have identified the shooting suspect as Ja'mari Alexander Allen Jones. He is considered armed and dangerous.
