Robbery Puts Schools on Lockdown

Police still searching for suspect in pharmacy robbery.

A robbery at an Edmonds pharmacy sent three local schools into lockdown mode today.

Edmonds-Woodway High School, College Place Middle Scool, and College Place Elementary School kept doors closed from 11:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. this morning while police searched for the robbery supect.

Police responded to a call from Edmonds Pharmacy, which is in the 7600 block of 212th St. SW, at 11:05 a.m. A man wearing a dark coat, gray hooded sweatshirt, mask and gloves gave a pharmacy employee a note demanding drugs.

 Officers searched the scene for the suspect but did not find him. The robbery remains under investigation. Edmonds Police ask anyone with information regarding this crime to call the tip line at 425-771-0212.
