Edmonds Patch on Wednesday will publish the first in a three-part series on the life and death of Josh Blake, the 28-year-old man who killed during a routine stop earlier this year.
The series is written by Bonney Lake-Sumner Patch Local Editor Lauren Padgett.
Padgett sat down with Josh's brother, Chris, who works for the City of Bonney Lake and lives in Sumner.
In the interview, Chris talks candidly about the Blake family and his brother's struggles with drugs, which led to the tragic, deadly shooting of the state trooper in February. He detailed how Josh's death has forever changed his life.
"Josh didn’t have a bad family, or a bad childhood. He had good parents. He has good kids," said Chris during the interview. "It should be a lesson to anybody who sees themselves in a situation with drugs—this could happen to you, because it happened to him."
Check back Wednesday for more on Josh Blake in the series titled A Brother Betrayed.
