Pedestrian Dies After Being Struck by 87-Year-Old Edmonds Man

Victim, Sun Kim, dies at Harborview Medical Center over the weekend after Sept. 6 incident.

A 58-year-old Lynnwood has died from her injuries after being struck by a car driven by an 87-year-old Edmonds man.

The woman, Sun Kim, died over the weekend at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. According to the King County Medical Examiner's Office, the cause of death was blunt-force injuries to the head and torso.

According to Lynnwood Police Department’s Shannon Sessions, Kim was struck at the intersection of 180th Street Southwest and SR 99 at Sept. 6 at 4:12 p.m.
