No Cover Up Here: Bikini Barista Owner Says He's Glad Incident Out in Open

Edmonds' neighbor gets its own coffee-stand exposure.

Last July, Edmonds had its share of news coverage after the Edmonds Police Department released results—including video—of a involving a bikini barista coffee stand on Highway 99.

Now, Lynnwood has its own bikini barista turn in the spotlight, farther up on Highway 99.

Lynnwood KOMO reports that Girl Town Espresso, which is north of 156th Street Southwest, reopened over the weekend after the Snohomish County Health Department determined that sex is not occurring at the stand.

The stand's owner, Rick Summers, does admit, though, that he did have sex with one of the baristas—but the stand was closed and undergoing renovation. The allegations came to light after a tipster sent a photo to KOMO.

Summers says he is glad the story is out in the open. In fact, the stand now live-streams the inside of the coffee stand.
