Man Shot by Edmonds Police Identified, Arrested

Authorities have identified the 27-year-old Edmonds man shot by police on Saturday.

Authorities have identified the 27-year-old Edmonds man shot by police on Saturday. 

Aaron K. Eckley has been released from Harborview Medical Center where he was treated for injuries sustained during the September 7, 2013 shooting incident involving the Edmonds Police Department.  

During the incident, police say Eckley was verbally defiant when told to lower his weapon and at one point leveled it at officers.

Eckley has been booked into the Snohomish County Jail on two counts of assault in the second degree (RCW 9A.36.021).
