Man Calls 911 to Say He's Shot His Wife

Snohomish County Sheriff's deputies say a 54-year-old Bothell man is suspected of killing his wife, 52.

A Bothell man called 911 on Wednesday to report that he'd just shot his wife, reports the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office.

Shortly after 3 p.m., deputies responded to the 1100 block of 202nd St. SE in Bothell and discovered a 52-year-old female who had died. The male suspect, 54, was arrested at the home without incident.

The male and female were married and lived at the residence.

Detectives with the Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit were called to conduct the investigation.  Information regarding the identity of the victim and cause of death will be made by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office at a later date.
