Man Assaults, Robs Ex-Girlfriend: Edmonds Police Blotter

Friday, April 12

  • Jewelry and watches were stolen from a home on the 300 block of sunset way.
  • A woman was arrested for domestic violence assault after an argument with her boyfriend over a video game system turned physical.
  • A car stolen from Seattle was recovered in an Edmonds condo complex parking lot.

Saturday, April 13

  • A victim of a car prowl chased the suspect, on the 8500 block of 242nd St SW around 7 p.m., but the suspect got away with the victim’s laptop, the incident occurred at the Gateway Condominium complex.

  • A teen was booked into the Denny Youth Center for domestic violence after getting into a physical fight with her mother.
  • A woman reported that her elderly mother’s home had been broken into on the 8500 block of 200th St. SW.

Tuesday, April 16, 2013

  • A woman was assaulted and robbed by her ex-boyfriend at the 22200 block of Highway 99. She was taken to the hospital for evaluation, but the boyfriend was not located.
  • A door was pried on the tattoo shop on Firdale, but the would-be burglars did not get inside.
