Lynnwood Man Shot, Killed by Snohomish County Deputies, Authorities Say

Snohomish County Sheriff's Office Deputies shot and killed a Lynnwood man Wednesday evening, June 19.  The 46-year-old died of his injuries at Harborview Medical Center, according to a news release from the investigating agency – the Snohomish County Multiple Agency Response Team (SMART).

Deputies were investigating a court order violation and found the man on the 15200 block of Meadow Road in Lynnwood just after 7 p.m. During a confrontation, shots were fired and the suspect was hit. 

On Twitter, user Brittany said,  "I was there! Many shots fired!"

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office will take custody of the body to determine identify as well as cause and manner of death.

No officers were injured during the incident.
