KIRO: Two Edmonds-Woodway Students Suspended Over Explicit Photo
KIRO Radio is reporting that two brothers at Edmonds-Woodway were shown in a photo posted on Twitter having sex with a young female classmate. The photo was posted by a Shoreline student who reportedly has also been suspended.
Three students from two high schools in Edmonds and Shoreline have been suspended after one allegedly posted on Twitter a photo allegedly showing the other two having sex with a girl, apparently a 15-year-old classmate, reports KIRO radio.
The photo was taken months ago, the KIRO story says, but was tweeted last week by a senior at King’s High in Shoreline. It reportedly shows two brothers from Edmonds-Woodway High, a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old, with the girl.

KIRO reports that Edmonds police say the girl is a classmate believed to be 15. The radio station said it was contacted by a parent who was outraged by reaction from fellow students and comments on the photo posted on Twitter, one of which said it was the “funniest” thing he’d ever seen.
Edmonds-Woodway officials would not comment on any discipline for the two male students there, but sources reportedly say they have been suspended. An Edmonds School District spokesperson said the incident is being taken seriously and is being investigated. The district reportedly contacted Edmonds police last week.

A spokesman for Kings High said the student who tweeted the image has been suspended pending an investigation. Edmonds police are also investigating whether the girl was of the age of consent and whether any charges might be filed.
