Edmonds Councilwoman Diane Buckshnis Defamed With a Slur

Edmonds Patch received the following today from Edmonds City Councilwoman Diane Buckshnis:

I was doing my usual morning garden-tending on Tuesday: collecting cut flowers from the yard, weeding and just enjoying the moment as my dogs looked on lying on the grass.

I went to deadhead some daisies on the other side of their brown Jeep when I noticed the word "BITCH" written in bright green letters on my husband's Jeep window. 

It is unfortunate that folks who may have a disagreement or problem with my views over something can't either stop by and ring the doorbell or call. This is a sad day in Edmonds politics that someone has to go to this extent to attempt to embarrass me in my own neighborhood. 

This isn't the first incident.

Right after the council voted to rescind the cat containment law, dog feces was found in my turnaround, and then a week later another "load" was found in right by the gate where we exit the yard. These two incidents were not reported, but on the urging of (Edmonds Police) Chief Compaan, the window defacing will. 

If someone is this passionate about my issues, I welcome them to bring them up personally with me. My door is open and you obviously know where I live.
